Rimfire Matches

Columbia Fish and Games hosts several 22LR rimfire matches throughout the year which are open to the public.  Our focus is to provide shooters of all experience levels with a fun and safe experience to further develop their skills.  Matches are generally one of two types:

Steel Challlenge
Steel Challenge matches are designed around the National Steel Challenge Shooting Association guidelines.  The match consists of seven stages and competitors can shoot a 22LR rifle, pistol, or both.  Steel Challenge is focused on speed and involves engaging five targets between 7 and 35 yards as quickly as possible.

Precision Rifle
Precision Rifle matches are 22LR rifle only and are designed to present competitors with a variety of challenging shooting positions while engaging targets between 25 and 100 yards.
