HUNTER TRAPPER INSTRUCTOR CLASS

On Saturday March 1st, Columbia Fish and Game hosted a training session and breakfast for 30 instructors. The breakfast was prepared by our own John Boyer.

Following the breakfast, changes and/or new policies for classes to be held in 2008 were discussed.

Several instructors were given Years of Service awards and Bob Mulhollem was presented with the "Instructor of the Year" award for 2007. Bob is a member of Conewago Rod and Gun club.

Our club has been the host of this annual breakfast for more than 15 years. In appreciation for our support, WCO John Veylupek presented Columbia Fish and Game with a framed print by Patrick Sharbaugh entitled "The Getaway".

Columbia Fish and Game members in attendance were: John Boyer, Dave Splain, Stan Gingrich, Paul Shope, Jeff Rickert, Doug Yohe and Charlie Youtz.

A Hunter Trapper Education class was held at the club on March 27.28 and 29. We certified 17 new hunters. The next class at the club will be held August 21st thru 23rd. To pre-register, follow this link: www.pgc.state.pa.us
