The Junior Rifle Program will be holding an open house on September 14th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. If you know any young people from the ages of 12 to 17 that would benefit from a structured shooting program, come to the clubhouse and we will be glad to show you what it is all about. It is not necessary for the shooter to be related to a club member. Any question, send an email to: daver@columbiafishandgame.org

We received this email from club member Matthew Bryner, let's all tip our hats to Matt!

I just wanted to pass along the this information along with a Thank You to my fellow members and Board for Columbia Fish and Game.  In May of this year, I attended the County Probation and Parole Officer's Firearms academy.  It was a challenging and very fun week of training, and I am pleased to say that I took the The Chester A. Kope, Jr. Top Gun award winner for the 48th Basic Training Academy.  An award that I owe to the benefit of years of practice thanks to a very well maintained facility at Columbia Fish and Game.  I am pleased to be a member of the club.  Please see the link for the newsletter below.

There is interest in starting a .22 caliber silhouette outdoor shooting program. Anyone interested in helping or participating, please send an email to me
at
daver@columbiafishandgame.ipower.com and I will forward it to those involved.

A pair of binoculars was found on the club grounds. Send an email with your phone number to the above address and we will contact you.
The annual club banquet was held on April 5th. Over 120 people attended and the entertainment was provided by Ken Hussar. Ken had everyone laughing and singing.

After dinner and entertainment, the club honored two members for their service to the club, Carson Frost and Dave Reinfried. A chinese auction was held and the proceeds will be donated to Lancaster County Youth Field Day and the Junior Rifle Program at CFG.

We hope that you can attend again next year. It is a great way to meet and get to know fellow club members in a relaxing environment. Below are some photos of the event.
